Los Sarapes Chalfont in Chalfont

Los Sarapes is my go to Mexican restaurant in the Chalfont area. Margaritas are delicious, and we always enjoy starting with the guac. Always have to ask for more chips, but it's never a problem.I've only ever been for lunch, but I'd highly recommend the burritos. I've never left hungry or disappointed! Service is always super friendly, too. Note that they do close between lunch and dinner!

Delicious food with good sized portions. Service was pleasant and timely.

Our dinner was delicious. My niece bad the beef enchiladas and I had the chicken alcachofa. We started with the chips and guac. The food here is always delicious and fresh!

We have passed this restaurant several times and decided that we would try it out. Parking lot us a bit small parked across the street which was what it seems everyone else was doing also. The menu had alot to choose from the price was reasonable. The server was great and the rest of the staff was very friendly. The food was great no long wait and was very tasty.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food. Everything tastes extremely fresh. If it's just you and a friend you should sit at the bar, the bartender John is a great welcoming guy. The place feels like a more upscale Mexican food restaurant and follows that theme.

One of my favorite local restaurants. The service is great. The food is incredible, crema poblano soup, chili rellenos, in particular. And the drinks are top notch. The standard margarita is perfectly balanced. If you like Mexican food, you owe it to yourself to try this place.

Authentic Mexican food is always excellent. Many vegetarian options. Churros for desert are a must!

Delicious food, great service. The guacamole is the best we have had. The mole chicken and the salmon were excellent. Nice outdoor dining space.

This place is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I I need a special lunch, this is the place that comes instantly to my mind. excellent and food and a large menu.great staff, and pleasant spirit. Also important, the pay is reasonable. I praise this restaurant with no hesitation.

The food here is outstanding. We have been coming here for years, usually for special occasions. The margaritas are killer. Not too sweet or sour. Be careful, they will put you down lol they taste so good it hides the strength. The service is always top notch too. Heads up, if you go to the one in Horsham it is BYOB.

This is a great Mexican spot to visit, albeit COVID19 is ruining the vibe. Take-Out is still available.

Delicious food, great margaritas, awesome staff

Awesome, super fresh, authentic Mexican. This visit, My wife had the shrimp and scallop salad which was amazing and I had the Sizzling Sorapes.....a most have (ask for a cup of the green sauce) ! And forget about the blood orange marguarita... terrific. And if you still have room, the trees leeches cake is so good that we order it to go just so we can eat it later.

Showed up with some friends for a random night out and was turned away because they failed to set up any of the outdoor sitting area even though weather was fine and treated us poorly for not making reservations. The poor couple behind us said they had young kids and wanted a nice night out but staff told told them ‘you should have planned better’. Well your business skills are horrible. Won’t be getting my business ever.

I love Los Sarapes Chalfont. The portions are smaller, but the quality is exceptional, which is how I like it. It's the perfect restaurant for a date night, but also a great place to take your family. We have brought both of our young children, and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. My kids enjoy playing "I Spy" with the decor. It will keep them entertained for DAYS. You can't go wrong with their spicy chicken enchiladas, but my favorite item is their poblano soup. I crave it!

We met with friends at this place for dinner. we heard about this spot from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff were so friendly and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.

Best margarita and authentic mexican food around

By far my favorite Spanish cousine in the area. You can tell by the parking lot that your dinner is going to be good. Whether it is date night or a business meeting, Los Sarapes is a great place to eat.Menu is impressive and they have numerous drinks available. Staff if always kind and service is above average. Very happy with past experience and looking forward to my next excuse to try a new plate.

I went with a group of friends to this Restaurant last night and was very disappointed. They would not honor anything that was on their Website. No Happy Hour prices. Margaritas were $13/each instead of their Marketed $5. All you can eat tacos (Every Tuesday) were not available. But the waiter said that was for take out only. Does that make sense? $7 up charge for a side of peppers. I felt like I was being punished because Business is slow right now - I won't be going back to eat at Los Sarapes!

Food is great and service is awesome. Don’t leave without trying the fresh guacamole.

The food is excellent. Not big portions but the quality of the cuisine far surpasses any Mexican restaurant since I moved from California. Service is excellent, great experience.

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we went to this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We had a lovely experience there with very good meal and a professional stuff and an impressive cuisine. We put this place in our list and we shall certainly visit again soon. We warmly recommend.

Decent, but expensive. We generally enjoyed our meals, but we've had a lot better Mexican food at multiple other places in the area, and have enjoyed that food for significantly less money. You'd do well to look around more before eating here.

The quality of the food was decent enough, but the prices are definitely too high. Maybe where they’re located there’s no competition but there are places in Doylestown and Lambertville that are at least as good for less money. The fajitas only come with 2 tortias? Shame, if the entrees were all about $5 less we’d be back more often.

Always excellent food whether going for lunch or dinner. We always get the chicken banderillas as an appetizer, which are little rolled corn shells stuffed with chicken and covered in spicy green sauce and cheese. They.are.amazing! For the main meal, we can't help but always get the chicken enchiladas in mole sauce and rice. I don't know how they do it, but that rice is flavorful and moist every single time. It's frustrating how good it is because we can't figure out how to make it at home. If you are a fan of drinks, their margaritas are also worth a try. Fairly strong and great with some spice and salt rim.Bottom line...The place is excellent and worth the price.

Very disappointing. Food was ok. Service not that good. To get drinks was almost impossible to get. Our first round never came out until after we were served appetizers! After waiting over 20 minutes for a second drink I was told the bar was backed up. Not sure how a bar can be that backed up. Lots of other Mexican restaurants in the area to waste your time not getting good service!

Food is awesome!

Went with a group of friends. The bar service was extremely slow. Our first round of dinks took over half and hour to arrive. Wine was ordered not even halfway through dinner and never arrived. Other members of the group ordered a second margarita and they also didn’t arrive.
